Arctic Lidar Observatory for Middle Atmosphere Research

The  ALOMAR Observatory Lidars

The three lidars at ALOMAR - the RMR, the sodium and the ozone lidar - a priceless threesome, probing the middle atmosphere from 8 to 120 km in an endless search for  Noctilucent Clouds (NLC), Polar Stratospheric Clouds (PCE), temperatures, winds (speeds and directions), OH and ozone concentrations.
